Donkey Kong (1994)

1994 · Nintendo R&D1 / Pax Softnica · Published by Nintendo

An expanded remake of the original arcade Donkey Kong that adds new mechanics, including picking up and throwing objects, plus dozens of additional puzzle-platforming stages beyond the original four. The added levels emphasize physics-based puzzle solving more than the arcade game did. It later served as a direct precursor to the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series.
